Always wanted to work as Mechanical Architect?
And do you want to contribute to innovative hightech projects that help our customers build up a lasting lead in the world of technology? While at the same time you will be working for a company where you and your personal development are our priority? Then you are the candidate we are looking for!

What are you going to do as Mechanical Architect?

As a Mechanical Architect, you play a key role in the development of advanced high-tech systems for international clients. The work focuses on complex technological products such as lithography machines, compact electron microscopes, smart home automation systems, and innovative electric vehicles.

In this role, you are responsible for defining the mechanical architecture of complex systems and translating customer needs into clear technical specifications and conceptual designs. You work in a multidisciplinary environment together with specialists in mechanics, electronics, software, mechatronics, and mathematics.

You collaborate closely with customers, project managers, architects, account managers, and engineering teams to ensure alignment between technical solutions and project objectives. Your responsibilities include defining system specifications, establishing mechanical budgets, and developing conceptual designs for subsystems. You also specify testing and integration requirements to support the full V-model development process and ensure high product quality.

As a Mechanical Architect, you provide technical leadership within projects by guiding engineers and designers, motivating team members to take ownership of their deliverables, and ensuring strong technical execution. You also contribute to innovation by introducing new technologies and applying theoretical engineering principles to practical development challenges.

Additionally, the role involves building and maintaining strong internal and external networks to support project success and organizational growth, while managing complex technical scopes and coordinating work within multidisciplinary teams.

Do you see yourself as…

  •  MSc or PhD in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
  • Proven track record in mechanical design within high-tech systems and/or equipment.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in mechatronic and precision system design, depending on seniority level.
  • Broad multidisciplinary orientation, understanding how mechanical expertise integrates within complex systems.
  • Strong analytical and abstract thinking skills, with proficiency in various analysis methods.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Recognized as a technical leader and inspirational coach, with deep theoretical and practical knowledge in technical design, mechanisms, precision mechanics, and Design for Excellence(DfX).

That means something different for each individual. For one person, it means being guided to their dream project; for the other, it means developing their skills. Making that possible, that is the human touch. And that is what makes our heart beat faster.
